Wacky Wall Clock

Back in 2014, I had a wacky lightbulb moment: why not turn my sister's obsession with taking #selfies into something fun and functional? It wasn’t just her; selfies were (and still are) the defining feature of a generation. Everyone seemed obsessed with capturing their faces at every angle, fueled by vanity, creativity, or simply the joy of self-expression. And so, the Wacky Wall Clock was born—a playful homage to the selfie culture. But with our unique twist, we aimed to inject a dose of happiness right onto your wall, offering candid, quirky designs that truly stand out.

But wait, the idea is not just for your selfies. It's actually a revival of an underrated apparatus nowadays. Our very own wall clocks? But why? Honestly, why not? 🕒 Clocks are the unsung heroes of our daily lives. Sure, the digital age has brought us smartphones and smartwatches, but traditional clocks remain ever-present, always quietly keeping us in check. Think about it—every morning, you glance at the clock to see if you're late. At lunchtime, you check if it’s time to eat. In the evening, you sneak a peek to decide if it’s too early for bed or time for your favorite show. If time tells the story of your day, then clocks are the storytellers. So why settle for a dull, monotonous storyteller?

Enter Wacky Wall Clock!
We believe that time isn’t just gold—it should be colorful, joyful, and yes, downright wacky. Imagine a clock that not only tells time but also makes you smile every time you look at it. Better yet, imagine one featuring your own selfies! A clock that doubles as a reminder of how good-looking you are? Cool, right?

So, what are you waiting for? Take your selfie obsession to the next level. Snap away, showcase your fabulousness, and let’s turn your moments into a cheerful, quirky timepiece with the Wacky Wall Clock! Because time shouldn’t just fly—it should make you laugh while it’s at it. ✨
Though this concept didn’t gain much traction—largely due to workload and logistical challenges—it remains close to my heart as a product designer. I’ve always believed Wacky Wall Clock is still a strong concept with plenty of potential. Since its launch in 2014, I’ve had a handful of clients who loved the idea, using it to create unique souvenirs or special, personalized gifts for their loved ones. Even now, I occasionally receive inquiries, and a few clients are still keen to bring their wacky ideas to life.

Who knows? Maybe this quirky little idea isn’t done ticking yet. Let’s get wacky—one clock at a time!
